G7 ~ MAKE THE WAVE
7 - 10th JUNE
Join the UK-wide action in the days leading up to the G7 Leaders’ Summit in Cornwall.
Connect with your local community and Movement of Movements groups, using imagination to highlight the reality of rising sea levels. MAKE THE WAVE will surge into an unstoppable force for change - demanding our government and the world’s leaders take decisive action on the Climate Emergency.

Beacons of Hope
In order to highlight the ecological emergency during the G7 summit, beacons will be lit from Cornwall across the country to London. These will follow the path of the Armada beacons warning of the approach of the Spanish Armada. If you would like to get involved, join the G7 Beacons chat on Telegram.
School Strike
10th and/or 11th of June
The plan is to have a school strike in B&H to highlight the MAKE THE WAVE campaign. Do support your school strikers!
Samba Band Practice
Do you want to make some noise? The next Samba Band practice will be from 6-8 at Wildpark, Coldean on May 21st. Do come along. No previous musical experience needed.

BIG PARTY - Put the Date in your Diary!
May 22nd, 11.00am, Preston Park Clock Tower
We will be getting together to celebrate our achievements and to look forward to a summer of actions on the streets. Do come along and meet old friends, or make new ones. If you have never been involved in XR before, we would be delighted to see you. There will be a samba workshop, a cycle swarm, an appearance by our new ship,The Bloomin’ Adur and speakers from the Horse Hill campaign against new oil drilling.
