SPECIAL HALLOWEEN EDITION!!
LOOKING FOR A NEW ROLE IN XR BRIGHTON?
We are recruiting! There are new roles in Brighton’s Coordination Group and we'd like to hear from you. There are four roles and anyone can be nominated for them, or you can nominate yourself. You’d have loads of support and learn all about what goes on in XR Brighton.
What do I need to do?
Email us at xr_brighton@protonmail.com to nominate someone or yourself. You’d need to be available on Thursday 5 November at 6pm for the nomination process. It’s not as scary as it sounds. We welcome all nominations, we need new rebels and new energy.
OUR WORLD IS ON FIRE and WE WANT TO LIVE
From XR Hastings/St Leonards
Join our Extinction Halloween and usher in 'the dark half of the year', when the barriers between the physical world and the spirit world break down.
For hundreds of thousands of years, we have faced our fears and death together using light, ritual, art and music. In Covid-19-aware spaced groups of up to 30, we will have torches, skeletons, illuminated bikes and samba bands. We dress up seriously to express our profound concern, about the climate and ecological emergency that threatens us with many more deaths.
Bring your scary skeletons, world on fire effigies, your creative response, or simply dress in black/white, starting from the Stade, we’ll thoughtfully make our way around the Old Town and finish at the Hastings Borough Council Offices, Breeds Place.
Plans are changing continuously, please keep checking this event page. Save this link: https://fb.me/e/1y1hGGyHh
