XR Brighton will march on 29 August to call for change and demand our government take action! We recognize that the climate crisis, climate justice and the struggle for social justice sounded by Black Lives Matter and others are interconnected. They are consequences of a system and a government that is failing to protect its people.
This year we all did something we never believed was possible and saw that our strength comes from the resilience of people, community spirit, not from government action. Whatever lockdown was for us, it was nothing compared to the wave of climate crisis that is coming.
NO-ONE IS IMMUNE TO THE CLIMATE CRISIS.
