Regenerative culture picnic and workshops – all welcome

11th Aug 2019 12:00 - 17:15

Wyld service plot Stanmer organics

12noon - 5.15pm, feel free to dip in and dip out at any time.

Regenerative Culture is foundational to Extinction Rebellion: Every meeting we attend, every conversation we have and action we take part in. Could you imagine a world where the cultural norms actually looked after you, took care of everyone you knew and all the creatures and the planet too? This would be a culture that is regenerative.

We don’t always realise we need to take time to pause from our fast-paced, highly-charged, action-focused work and deepen our individual and collective resilience and resources to keep us fit for the long rebellion ahead.

Extinction rebellion is asking the government do more to deal with the climate emergency and long for a regenerative culture. Join us for a family friendly day amongst the trees and butterflies, a place for friends and strangers to get together and have a chance to experience some things that might make that culture feel a bit more imaginable.

Take this chance to open up your Extinction Rebellion world and invite your ‘Extinction Rebellion curious’ friends and family and lets all take time to connect to and celebrate the beauty of our natural world that we are fighting for.
