Regenerative Culture picnic and workshops

28th Jul 2019 10:30 - 17:00

Whitehawk Inn Whitehawk Road Brighton BN2 5NS

Regenerative Culture is foundational to XR: Every XR meeting we attend, every conversation we have and action we take part in needs to be infused with a flavour of this mature, reflective way of taking care of the planet, one another and ourselves.

We are putting on a series of days that are all about connecting with and supporting one another, growing our emotional, physical, social and spiritual wellbeing. These days are about taking some time-out from our fast-paced, highly-charged, action-focused work in XR and building up our individual and collective resilience and resources. They will be a good chance to connect with others involved in XR in a different context and to remember and celebrate the simple beauty of the life that we are fighting to preserve.

Watch this space for workshops that will run at the event which you will need to book your free place on through Eventbright.

Tell your friends, everyone is welcome! - these events could be a gentle way ‘in’ to XR for people who have not yet become involved.

We need your children! - these events will be family-friendly so please bring children with you

We will meet at 10.30am for a short opening ceremony, followed by a day of picnic-ing (please bring food to share), workshops and activities, finishing with a closing ceremony at 5pm.
