Join an Affinity Group

Taking action is better when you do it together with a group of people you know and trust: your affinity group. Join us at this online event to find out more about affinity groups and to either join an existing one or form your own.

Being in an affinity groups will mean you can be in the loop with actions in the coming rebellion.

All are welcome, new and old rebels, and the simply curious.

Affinity groups in Extinction Rebellion support each other to take action. Some are based around a particular neighbourhood, some have a particular kind of action that they do, like the Red Rebels, some have a particular interest like in ecology (Saving Species AG), and others are a mixed bunch.

Some people in the group may be able and willing to take non-violent direct action and others are willing to support them to do this by acting as stewards or first-aiders for example. Affinity groups plan and do their own actions or else join with others in Brighton or national actions.

Outside of actions, people in affinity groups support each other emotionally as we live through the climate and ecological crisis.
